Our Identity as God’s Children
As children of God, we are offered a tremendous identity – we are loved, accepted, and valued. This identity is not contingent upon our actions or the opinions of others but is rooted in God’s incomprehensible love for us. Being recognized as children of God gives us a sense of belonging that cannot be shaken. It assures us that we are part of a larger family with a loving Father who desires for us to thrive in His grace and learn about our special place in His plan. Whenever we feel lost or unsure, we can turn to the word of God to remind us of this beautiful truth about who we are – intimately known and lovingly embraced.
